Tsoi Li Ho Fut Hung is the Art Lo Sifu Jimmy H. Woo brought from China. We are told that The Art in it's present form was combined by Monks of the Kwan Yin monastery from Various sources (Tsoi Ga, Li Ga, Ho Ga, and probably retired Military personnel) then perfected for self preservation. The story goes that Lo Sifu Woo's Great Great Great Grandfather (Leong Kick) was orphaned and taken in by those Monks. At some point he was afforded training within the arts After some 24 years he left with two training texts on the Art and past the art down to his family.
How or why we do not know.
As generations past and Lo Sifu was taught this very Art making him 5th generation in his family to have done so. Lo Sifu was made at some point the keeper of the books and the family Art. The Art have been in his family for over 8 generations now. Lo Sifu Woo's Birth name was Chin Siu Dek. He Immigrated from China to the USA under the name Moon Haw Woo for reasons also unknown. He was a private man and spoke little on all these matters.
Jimmy, a name he was given by his english teacher and the name he adopted for the rest of his life. It was also how he prefered to be addressed, simply as "Jimmy". He taught in the Los Angeles Chinatown District for several years, Than in 1959 open a school in EL Monte California where he taught his family's Martial Art. He termed it Kung-fu San Soo.
After many dedicated decades Lo Sifu Jimmy H. Woo taught his families fighting system to hundreds of students. Many of those students became instructors of this art and in turn taught hundreds if not thousands of others in which some of them also became instructors So on and so forth for many generations to come. Touching the lives of countless individuals in many positive ways.
Grandmaster Woo passed away on February 14. 1991. Lo Sifu Woo was a hugely charismatic man with a rich life. He Shared his art and much of himself to his students. Whom many are grateful.
